about Shira

Shira received her culinary arts degree from the distinguished Culinary Institute of America. Since graduating, she worked as a saucier at Jean George's ABC kitchen, Danny Meyers's Marta Manhattan, and as part of the production team at Blue Hill Farm in Tarrytown, New York. After her immersion in New York's restaurant scene she became a private chef for clients in New York and the Hamptons, catering elegant dinner parties in client's homes. She then moved to Tel Aviv and opened a vegan restaurant called Opa. She now works in the Baltimore/DMV area as a private chef.
